Engineering for Kids Chelmsford — High Street Prize Draw: Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter
This prize draw is run by Engineering for Kids Chelmsford, Registered as Creative Engineering for kids Ltd trading as Engineering for kids Chelmsford, of Unit 4, Eckersley Road Industrial Estate, Chelmsford, CM1 1SL (“the Promoter”, “we”, “us”).
2. How To Enter
Entry is free. Visit our stand at the Chelmsford High Street event on 22 August 2026 and leave your family’s details on our sign-up form. One entry per family — if we receive more than one entry from the same family, only the first will count. No purchase is necessary to enter and no purchase will increase your chances of winning. By entering, the parent or guardian confirms they are entering on behalf of their own child and agrees to these terms.
3. Who Can Enter
Open to UK residents only. The entrant (the adult submitting the form) must be 18 or over and the parent or legal guardian of the child named on the entry. Not open to employees of Engineering for Kids Chelmsford, their families, or anyone else professionally connected to running this promotion.
4. Closing Date & Prize Draw
Entries close at 5pm on 22 August 2026 (the end of the High Street event). Three winners will be chosen by random draw from all valid entries received. (each entry will be assigned a number and drawn using random.org, ) The draw will take place by 29 August 2026. The draw will be conducted or supervised by someone independent of the entry process (e.g. a colleague who did not collect entries), and a record of the draw will be kept.
5. The Prizes
There are three prizes, one per winning entry: (1) one month’s free subscription to Weekend Club; (2) two free trial sessions — these can be used for two different clubs if preferred, subject to space being available; (3) one free trial session, for the winning entrant’s choice of club, subject to space being available. Each entry names one child — where the winning entry’s family includes other children, the prize applies only to the child named on that entry, not to siblings. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged, resold, or redeemed for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will offer a reasonable alternative of equivalent or greater value. Prizes must be used within 3 months of the winner being notified, after which they lapse.
6. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or phone number given on their entry form, within 7 days of the draw. We will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner more than once — if a winner cannot be reached, or does not respond, within 14 days of the first attempt, we reserve the right to redraw that prize to another eligible entrant. With the winning family’s permission, we may share their first name and the club they’ve chosen on our social media or website. We will never publish a child’s name, photo, or any other identifying detail without separate, explicit written consent from the parent or guardian.
7. Your Data
Information collected for this prize draw is used only to run the draw and, where you’ve separately opted in, to send you information about our clubs — entering the draw does not require you to opt in to marketing. See our Privacy Policy: Here for full details on how we store and use your data.
8. General
We reserve the right to disqualify any entry we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, duplicated, or made in breach of these terms. We reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion if circumstances beyond our control make it unavoidable. This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entering this prize draw is free and does not require any purchase, in line with the Gambling Act 2005 free prize draw exemption.
